Chapel Grove Reunion
Please come and join us for our Chapel Grove Reunion which is to take place during the NB long weekend, which begins July 30th, 2010. What a perfect opportunity to "remember when...." with family and friends. This invitation extends to anyone who has a connection to the Grove (or wants to make one)! Our plans are still evolving, so stay tuned, but here's what we have to date:
Friday, July 30th 8pm: Meet and Greet at the Hall.
This will be a very informal chance to sit and chat over a hot or cold drink. Please bring any pictures you might have to share. ($5.00 admission)
July 31st: 8:30pm Dance the night away at the Hall
Although we won't have records like the 'old days', we will have a great local DJ who will have songs that represent every era. (I think he even has a Disco Ball!) Please email us your favorite songs! ($15.00 admission)
Sunday, August 1st: 9pm
Bonfire and sing song at Hickey's Beach. So bring a camp chair, your voice and a musical instrument!
All proceeds from these events will be used to support the renovations needed in the Church Hall, with any remainder going toward the Building Fund. We are also encouraging people to register ahead of time so that we have a good idea of how many to expect. From now until June 1st you can register by calling or emailing our church office number: Phone 763-2149; email stbridgets@nb.aibn.com
If you're interested in volunteering with any of these events please let us know. As I'm sure you all know to make events like this successful the 'more the merrier'!
